Effects of Anesthesia on Ozone-Induced Lung and Systemic Inflammation

Abstract: Anesthetics are required for procedures that deliver drugs/biologics, infectious/inflammatory agents, and toxicants directly to the lungs. However, the possible confounding effects of anesthesia on lung inflammation and injury are underreported.
