Effects of Dietary Selenium Deficiency on mRNA Levels of Twenty-One Selenoprotein Genes in the Liver of Layer Chicken

Abstract: Selenium (Se) is an essential trace element in many life forms due to its occurrence as selenocysteine (Sec) residue in selenoproteins. However, little is known about the expression pattern of selenoproteins in the liver of layer chicken.
