“…This result is compatible with above study 2,[19][20][21] results. In contrast to the above study, few studies 3,22 reported that CHX increased the bond strenght of adhesives. These results are different from present study because of deciduous teeth dentin, difference of adhesive ingredients, different layer regularizations and the short disinfection duration.…”

“…In literature, few studies have the effect of aqueous ozone on bond strenght. At one of this studies, Oznurhan et al 22 found that aqueous ozone (3-4 ppm) increased bond strength of self-etch adhesive system. Pithon et al 26 found that ozonated water didn't alter bond strenght of brackets bonded with composite resin.…”

“…55,111,112,141,142 Arslan et al 55 found that 30% propolis extract did not differ significantly from other disinfectants when the etchand-rinse adhesive system (Adper Single Bond 2) was used. However, in self-etch adhesive system groups (All Bond SE), the propolis group exhibited more microleakage than the control group on dentin margins.…”

“…41,55,[110][111][112][113] The use of the Er,Cr:YSGG laser as a cavity disinfectant with etch-and-rinse (Adper Single Bond 2) adhesive system was found by Celik et al, 41 to significantly increase the µTBS compared with those not preradiated or bonded with self-etch adhesive (Clearfil Bond). On primary teeth, Oznurhan et al 111 found that teeth pretreated with KTP before the application of Prime and Bond NT adhesive exhibited significantly higher µTBS than did those without laser pretreatment.…”

“…Several studies showed that CHX does not have any interference with immediate bond strength to primary dentin. 14,16,21,22 Besides, Lenzi et al 14 and Ricci et al 17 reported that bond degradation decreased after several months. Manfro et al's 15 study showed that CHX might be prevented from bond degradation immediately and after 1 year on the interface zone of the primary teeth.…”
