Effects of Preservatives in Nasal Formulations on the Mucosal Integrity: An Electron Microscopic Study

Abstract: The preservatives benzalkonium chloride (BZC) and potassium sorbate (PS) are widely used in the formulation of nasal drops and cosmetics.
