Abstract:The effects of pretanning effluent obtained from leather processing on the germination and seedling growth of rice were investigated. Undiluted pretanning effluents, and its 1:10, 1:40 and 1:80 dilutions along with tap water were used for irrigation to germinate the seeds. Some morphological characteristics were investigated.
