Effects of soy isoflavones on serum systemic and vascular inflammation markers and oxidative stress in peritoneal dialysis patients: A randomized controlled trial

Abstract: Cardiovascular disease (CVD) is common in peritoneal dialysis (PD) patients. This study was designed to investigate the effects of isoflavones on systemic and vascular inflammation markers and oxidative stress in PD patients. In this randomized clinical trial, 40 PD patients were randomly assigned to either the isoflavone or the placebo group.
