Efferent projections of the paraventricular thalamic nucleus in the rat

Abstract: The paraventricular nucleus of the thalamus (PVT) receives input from all major components of the circadian timing system, including the suprachiasmatic nucleus (SCN), the intergeniculate leaflet and the retina.
