Abstract:This paper describes a method of calibrating the efficiency of a Ge c-ray spectrometer. 226 Ra and 232 Th were selected to produce the soil calibration source, and then several c-rays with high emission probabilities in 226 Ra's decay products and 232 Th's decay products, along with 2754 keV c-rays of 24 Na in the primary coolant sample of PWR, were employed to perform efficiency calibration. After self-absorption correction and true coincidence summing correction, we obtained the efficiency curve of a U70 9 3… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
