Efficiency of application of the microbiological method of waste water treatment to remove hexamethylendiamine

Abstract: Wastewater contaminated with hexamethylenediamine (HMD), which is discharged into natural reservoirs, causes damage and loss of hydrobionts, worsens the quality of water which becomes unsuitable for use. For wastewater treatment from HMD, the possibility of applying bacterial cultures-destructors which use the HMD as a nutrition source is considered.

“…At the same time, the processes in water treatment systems have their own characteristics: insufficient and unclear information at the input and output of systems, irregularity or significant delay in obtaining input and output data, the impact on processes of many factors that can not always be identified. All this creates certain problems that interfere with process management, reduce the quality and efficiency of automation [Lytvynenko and Dychko, 2021]. In order to avoid these problems, it is proposed to focus on the following areas:…”

“…MODERN APPROACHES TO THE ENVIRONMENT MONITORING. The environmental consequences of rapid industrialization [7] have resulted in countless incidents of land, air and water resources sites being contaminated with toxic materials and other pollutants, threatening humans and ecosystems with serious health risks. More extensive and intensive use of materials and energy has created cumulative pressures on the quality of local, regional and global ecosystems.…”
