Efficient sonochemical synthesis of novel 3,5-diaryl-4,5-dihydro-1H-pyrazole-1-carboximidamides

Abstract: An ultrasound-assisted preparation of a series of novel 3,5-diaryl-4,5-dihydro-1H-pyrazole-1-carboximidamides that proceeds via the efficient reaction of chalcones with aminoguanidine hydrochloride under clean conditions is described.

“…Similarly, in 2010, we reported the cyclization of chalcones (11) with aminoguanidine hydrochloride (12) under essentially the same conditions (Scheme 4) (Pizzuti et al, 2010). The 4,5-dihydropyrazole derivatives (13) were obtained in high yields in 30 minutes employing sonication.…”

“…We have prepared several classes of organic compounds by sonocatalysis Pizzuti et al, 2010;Silva et al, 2009;Venzke et al, 2011). In particular, the beneficial effects of ultrasonic irradiation are playing an increasing role in chemical processes, especially in cases where classical methods require drastic conditions or prolonged reaction times, as biodiesel synthesis.…”

“…The 99m Tc-MIBI has also been recommended to assess the tumor size and the treatment efficiency of tumors of breast (Vecchio and Salvatore, 2004), parathyroid (Spanu et al, 2004) and lung (Dirlik et al, 2002).Ultrasound irradiation technique is routinely used in the different branches of chemistry. The reactions are carried out in order to obtain higher yields, shorter time or milder conditions under ultrasound irradiation modality (Khalaj et al, 2006;Khalaj et al, 2009 ;Pizzuti et al, 2010). In our previous study, 37 MBq (1mCi) 99m Tc-MIBI radiopharmaceutical samples with appropriate yields could be reconstituted under ultrasound irradiation technique (Doroudi et al, 2013).Thereafter, the bio-distribution of 99m Tc-MIBI complex samples were studied in the rat.…”
