Eficácia de um programa de condicionamento fí­sico intervalado sobre a tolerância í  caminhada em um indiví­duo com doença arterial obstrutiva periférica

Abstract: A doença arterial obstrutiva periférica (DAOP) afeta 20% da população idosa e aumenta o risco de doenças cardiovasculares. O sintoma mais frequente da DAOP é a claudicação intermitente, que depende da discrepância entre suprimento e demanda de oxigênio exigidos pelos músculos durante caminhada.
