Abstract:An eight-channel soft x-ray spectrometer has been developed, manufactured, and calibrated. Each channel consists of a calibrated bandpass filter, multilayer mirror, and vacuum x-ray diode. The accuracy of channel sensitivity calibration is ⩽ 15%. The time resolution of the spectrometer is Δt≈150 ps and energy resolution is E/ΔE⩾20.
