Abstract:In Class Ib Ribonukleotidreduktasen (RNRs) aktiviert ein Dimangan(II)-Cluster Superoxid (O 2 *À ) anstelle von molekularem Sauerstoff (O 2 ), um eine hochvalente Mn III -O 2 -Mn IV -Spezies zu bilden, die für die Oxidation von Tyrosin zum Tyrosyl-Radikal verantwortlich ist.
