Objectives: to evaluate, with users, the responsiveness of the embracement with risk classification in an emergency care unit and to analyze the association between socio-demographic and care variables with the evaluation of responsiveness. Method: quantitative, correlational study approach, developed in an emergency care unit in Santa Catarina (Brazil) with 459 users. A validated questionnaire was applied, with 25 questions, evaluated by Likert scale and organized in the domains: dignity, communication, agility, social support and facilities. The data were organized and processed with the Epi Info software and OpenEpi, using descriptive statistics and chi-square test. Results: the domains that stood out with good responsiveness were dignity (97.8%), communication (93.9%) and facilities (91.1%). Agility obtained the lowest percentage (56.6%). The overall mean of good responsiveness of the user embracement with Risk Classification was 82.1%. There was a significant statistical difference in the characteristics of users' profile (gender, age, marital status and schooling) and the number of times the user was attended in the service with good responsiveness. Conclusion: the user embracement with risk classification presented good responsiveness; however, there is a need for improvements, especially related to the agility of care. The evaluation of responsiveness by users is associated with socio-demographic and care variables.

Objectives: to understand actions of nurses who care for people person with mental illness at a Referenced Emergency Unit in a university hospital. Methods: a qualitative research based on Alfred Schütz's social phenomenology. Data collection was performed between December 2015 and January 2016 through phenomenological interviews with 13 nurses from an Emergency Unit. Results: nurses embrace according to their previous experiences. They easily identify biological complaints and, when they recognize psychiatric signs and symptoms, refer them to the psychiatrist. They raise doubts about what to do, so they expect to be qualified for such action, believing that a protocol could help as well as they need more time. Final considerations: the understanding of the lived type of nurse who embraces people with mental distress made possible in this study need recognition for research and interventions that focus on biological, psychic and social dimension articulation at embracement. RESUMOObjetivos: compreender a ação do enfermeiro que realiza acolhimento da pessoa em sofrimento mental em Unidade de Emergência Referenciada em um hospital universitário. Métodos: pesquisa qualitativa, fundamentada na fenomenologia social de Alfred Schütz. A coleta de dados foi realizada entre dezembro de 2015 e janeiro de 2016, por meio de entrevistas fenomenológicas com 13 enfermeiros de uma Unidade de Emergência. Resultados: os enfermeiros acolhem de acordo com suas experiências prévias, identificam facilmente queixas biológicas e, quando reconhecem sinais e sintomas psiquiátricos, encaminham ao psiquiatra. Apresentam dúvidas sobre o que fazer, portanto, esperam ser qualificados para tal ação, acreditam que um protocolo poderia ajudar, bem como necessitam de mais tempo. Considerações finais: a compreensão do tipo vivido do enfermeiro que acolhe a pessoa em sofrimento mental possibilitou, neste estudo, o reconhecimento da necessidade de pesquisas e intervenções que foquem na articulação da dimensão biológica, psíquica e social na ação do acolhimento. RESUMENObjetivos: comprender las acciones de las enfermeras que reciben a la persona con enfermedad mental en una Unidad de Emergencia recomendada en un hospital universitario. Objetivou-se conhecer a atuação do enfermeiro na classificação de risco dos serviços de urgência e emergência. Trata-sede uma revisão integrativa, realizada a partir de consultas nas bases de dados LILACS, MEDLINE e BDENF, em artigosredigidos em inglês, espanhol e português, no recorte temporal de 2008 a 2018. Foram selecionados 18 artigos, por meiode leitura crítica dos textos na íntegra. Os dados foram analisados através de estatística descritiva e Análise de Conteúdo.Verificou-se que dos 18 artigos analisados, nove (50%) foram indexados na base de dados MEDLINE, seis (33,3%) na LILACS e três (16,7%) na BDENF. Percebeu-se variação de uma a três publicações por ano, com exceção dos anos 2009 e 2014,em que não houve publicações. Após Análise de Conteúdo, identificaram-se três categorias: o enfermeiro no contexto daclassificação de risco, capacitação do enfermeiro atuante na classificação de risco e a atuação do enfermeiro na classificação de risco. Concluiu-se que o enfermeiro da classificação de risco dos serviços de urgência e emergência participa naassistência, tomada de decisões, monitoramento dos pacientes, registros, gerenciamento, educação e resolubilidade dosproblemas e/ou encaminhamento dos pacientes aos serviços adequados. Espera-se contribuir para melhor compreensãoacerca da atuação do enfermeiro nesses ambientes.Descritores: Enfermagem em Emergência; Papel do Profissional de Enfermagem; Triagem; Serviço Hospitalar de Emergência; Enfermagem.ABSTRACTThe objective of this study was to know the nurse’s roles in the risk classification of the emergency departments. An integrative review carried out on LILACS, MEDLINE and BDENF, in articles written in English, Spanish and Portuguese, from2008 to 2018. Eighteen articles were selected through critical and integral reading of the text. Data were analyzed throughdescriptive statistics and Content Analysis. It was verified that of the 18 analyzed articles, nine (50%) were indexed in theMEDLINE database, six (33.3%) in LILACS and three (16.7%) in BDENF. It was found a variation from one to three publications per year, except for the years 2009 and 2014, in which there were no publications. After Content Analysis, threecategories were identified: the nurse in the context of the risk classification, the nurse’s performance in the risk classification and the nurse’s training in the risk classification. It was concluded that nurses acting in risk classification of emergencydepartments participate in care, decision making, patient knowledge, records, management, education and problem solvingand/or referral of patients to the appropriate services.
