“…Thus far, various techniques of brow elevation have been described, including the direct brow lift, 1,2 the midforehead lift, 3-8 the pretrichial and post-trichial coronal lift, [7][8][9][10][11] and more recently the endoscopic brow lift. [12][13][14] In most of patients, especially women, either an endoscopic forehead lift or an open forehead lift is the procedure of choice for correction of brow ptosis. However, in case of male patients with pattern baldness, a rather high forehead and extensive compensatory rhytidosis of the forehead, one may also consider a direct brow lift by direct excision of skin above the eyebrow.…”

With the amount of experience and time to critically assess post-operative results, today endoscopic frontoplasty is the preferred technique used by most of the authors for cosmetic correction of the upper facial third1, 4,5,14,15 . In our department, endoscopic frontoplasty presented satisfactory results in more than 90% of the cases.…”

“…A number of techniques may be used in order to elevate the eyebrows. Endoscopic frontoplasty represents a significant development, having replaced the classic coronal and pre-trichia technique [1][2][3][4] . It allows for a forehead and eyebrows cosmetic enhancement without causing disproportional changes to facial anatomical relations.…”

“…4 Over a 10-year period, the endoscopic brow lift has become the preferred approach for rejuvenation of the upper third of the face by many plastic surgery subspecialists. 5 The aesthetic goals of a brow lift are to produce the desired effect with minimal morbidity and lasting results. 6 This is most easily attained by the small incisions of an endoscopically assisted surgery with remote access hidden behind the hairline.…”
