Abstract:Micropatterning of cells was achieved by the application of micromagnetic fields using ferromagnetic field modulators. These modulators were made of low carbon steel, and micromachined using the wire-cut method. They were engineered to disrupt the regular pathways of magnetic flux lines, and create localized regions of micromagnetic fields. Uniform micromagnetic fields were achieved via design evaluation using Maxwell®2D magnetostatic simulations. Application of the micromagnetic field modulators on Madin-Darb… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
