“…Both samples show characteristic peaks in Sr 3d, Ce 3d, O 1s in the XPS full spectrum. The characteristic peak in Si 2p appears in the XPS spectrum of Sr 2 CeO 4 @SiO 2 , which further confirms the composition of the coating layer [29,30]. Figure 3b-f shows the high-resolution spectra of Si 2p, O 1s, Sr 3d, Ce 3d, and C 1s for the two systems, respectively.…”

“…Since Sr 2 CeO 4 @SiO 2 has a higher dielectric loss (τ ε ) compared to the COC matrix, the τ ε of the composites increases with the introduction of fillers. As the frequency increases, the orientation polarization gradually weakens until it disappears [30], resulting in a decrease in the τ ε of the composites. When the filler content is 20 vol%, the τ ε of the composite is 0.11 at 10 6 Hz and decreases to 0.0023 at 10 GHz, which shows that the τ ε at high frequencies is significantly lower than that at low frequencies.…”

“…It is accredited to the exceptional intrinsic thermal conductivity of Ag, mainly contributed from electronic transfer and phonon lattice vibration. Further, the enhanced dielectric, electromechanical and hydrophobic behaviors of core-shell Ag nano-wires (Ag NWs) in SiO 2 filler into polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) based composites were prepared by sol gel technique and it is reported by Zhang et al [68] and his co-workers. The polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) is act as a polymer resin which is used in the field of insulators, coatings, medical devices, actuators and adhesives.…”

“…20 Zhou et al introduced core-shell AgNWs@SiO 2 fillers in PDMS to enhance the dielectric, electromechanical, and hydrophobic properties of the polymer. 21 However, to date, only a few researchers have studied the effects that a filler has on the dielectric properties and dielectric behavior of PMPS. 15,22,23 Silica particles are the traditional choice of fillers for silicones because of they have good interactions with the silicone matrix.…”
