Enhanced photocatalytic and Antibacterial Activity of Copper oxide Nanoparticles Synthesized by Facile Combustion methods from Mussaendafrondosa Plant Extract

Abstract: Microwave heating (MHM) and mutated sol-gel (SGM) mechanisms were used to effectively create CuO samples with two dissimilar morphologies, such as nanoparticles (CuO-NPs) and nanorods (CuO-NRs), using Mussaendafrondosalinn plant extract as the bio-reducing operator. X-ray powder diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and energy-dispersive X-ray (EDX) investigations were used to analyze the sample's structure, pureness, and morphological characteristics. UV-Visible diffuse reflectance (DRS) and … Show more

“…It exhibited shape memory properties and good mechanical stability under wet conditions, and its decolorization activity was high as 5 × 10 4 Lm −2 h −1 . This study demonstrated the recyclability and stability of the 3D nanocellulose-based aerogel membrane after a continuous catalytic discoloration process was performed ten times [79,96,97]. In organic compound degradation, semiconductor nanomaterials are widely used as the photocatalyst.…”

“…Due to their accessibility, low price, and established medicinal properties, copper nanoparticles are of enormous significance. [4] Copper nanoparticles have a place with monoclinic structure framework. As a p-type semiconductor, [5] copper nitrate has a much larger optical band hole (2.43 eV) than mass Cu nanoparticles (1.85 eV).…”
