This research investigates the effectiveness of the Human-Machine Interface-based control (HMI-BC) training kit as an innovative learning media in enhancing the Automation Control Skills (ACSs) of Industrial Electrical Engineering (IEE) students in the Industry 4.0 Era. The study focuses on evaluating the students' ACSs in the Electrical Machine Control Course (EMCC) after using the HMI-BC training kit as a practical learning media. The research adopts a quasi-experimental design with a One-Group Pre-test and Post-test design. The student’s ACSs data is collected using a performance assessment instrument. The impact of the HMI-BC training kit in enhancing ACSs was evaluated based on the differential analysis of pre-test and post-test scores using the paired-sample t-test. Furthermore, the effect size of the HMI-BC training kit on the learning process was determined using Cohen's d effect size analysis. The results reveal a significant improvement in the students' ACSs as evaluated through the assessment of the performance indicators. Based on the evaluation, the findings demonstrate a notable enhancement in students' ACSs. The HMI-BC Training Kit, developed to align with the characteristics of the learning material and industrial advancements, proves to be effective in enhancing students' ACSs, aligning with the evolving needs of the industry. These findings highlight the importance of incorporating the HMI-BC Training Kit in the learning process of motor control to equip students with relevant automation control competencies, ultimately preparing them for the industrial demands of the future.

With the advancement of science and technology, electronic devices are more extensively popularized, and students are being exposed to touch-type online at an early age, thus promoting the digitalization of children’s education and contributing to the proliferation of learning resources. Touch-type educational games emphasize learning autonomy, integrate teaching knowledge contents with games, and highlight that when using educational games, learners can obtain immediate and real feedback and identify learning and game objectives, thereby intensifying their learning. In this study, a questionnaire regarding the effect of touch-type online game education on learners’ learning motivations was designed on the basis of educational game theory. The mediating role played by learning immersion between the two was also measured. Results show that the overall Cronbach α coefficient is 0.825, the KMO value is 0.688, and the corresponding P value of Bartlett sphericity test is 0.0. In touch-type online game education, multi-organ sensing, touch gesture, and multi-hotspot response significantly affects learners’ learning motivations. Learning immersion exerts a masking effect on teachers’ initiatives in promoting learning motivations. The proportion of touch games play during class hours has different effects on learning motivation (p=0.020<0.05). The findings are critical for investigating the effects of touch interaction models on learners’ learning motivations, developing a set of evaluation indexes for educational game learning accessibility, and perfecting their evaluation methods.

Professional hazards, particularly psychosocial risks that are likely to affect teachers' physical and mental health, are a particular concern in the education sector. It is in this context that this research work lies to evaluate the psychosocial risks encountered by secondary school mathematics teachers in Safi city (Morocco). Indeed, it is a cross-sectional descriptive study based on a questionnaire that compiled socio-demographic and professional data as well as the psychometric variables of the French version of the KARASEK questionnaire. The latter has three components, namely psychological demand (PD), decision latitude (DL), and social support (SS). The sample consisted of 218 teachers, ranging from 22 to 61 years old, and the participation rate was 72.66%. The sex ratio was 1.5, out of which 61% were males surpassing that of women, 39%. The prevalence of stress risk variables was 98%, 79%, and 4% for high PD, low DL, and low SS, respectively. While Isostrain prevalence was detected only in 2% of instances, job strain was present in 77% of them. It is trusty to mention that men are proven to be more exposed to the lack of social support, “Job-strain” and isostrain than women. Indeed, they experience stress at work, thus demonstrating that psychosocial risks are significant occupational exposure for teachers. These results promote the development of prevention means to improve working conditions and protect the teachers’ well-being.
