Sosial media menjadi salah satu platform yang sering digunakan oleh masyarakat untuk berinteraksi dan berkomunikasi antara satu dengan yang lain. Instagram adalah sebuah platform media sosial yang memungkinkan pengguna untuk mengirimkan foto dan video secara online dengan kecepatan yang tinggi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode usability testing . Usability digunakan untuk mengukur kualitas berdasarkan pengalaman pengguna saat berinteraksi dan menggunakan aplikasi. Hasil perhitungan System Usability Scale (SUS) dengan melibatkan 50 responden menunjukkan skor sebesar 77,6. Dari skor tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa interpretasi dari pendekatan berdasarkan sifat (Adjective) menunjukkan bahwa layanan milik aplikasi Instagram ini masih termasuk dalam kategori GOOD.

The success of a tool depends on user satisfaction, and users will feel satisfied if they can do their work effectively and efficiently. The Hotpress machine has been developed for the 3rd generation and is currently a tool for processing plastic waste into a substitute for plywood. This research aims to evaluate the usability level of the Hotpress G3 machine and design a user interface based on the evaluation results to make it easier for users to operate the machine. The Nielsen Attributes of Usability (NAU) Questionnaire is used to evaluate a machine's usability level, and Retrospective Think Aloud (RTA) is used to identify problems in user interaction with a product or system. The results obtained from this research are that based on the five attributes used, the Hotpress G3 machine has a low rating in four usability aspects based on the Nielsen model. Based on the results of the usability evaluation, a recommended user interface was designed, namely adding information to each control button according to its function, adding a sensor to determine whether the heating switch is on or not and providing information about the maximum temperature by adding an alarm to the engine box.

SatuSehat is an application created and developed by the government of the Republic of Indonesia with the aim of controlling and tracking the spread of Coronavirus Disease (Covid-19). SatuSehat application has a main feature, namely location tracking, which requires community participation as users to report each other's locations when they travel. This aims to track the location and history of contact with people with Covid-19. However, in its use and implementation, users face various problems such as slow and difficult to understand application responses, unclear information, and frequent application problems that suddenly close. This research was conducted to evaluate the usability value of the SatuSehat application. The research method used was the SUS method by giving a questionnaire consisting of 10 questions related to the SatuSehat application to 38 respondents in the initial study. Based on this research, 7 improvement recommendations were obtained which were then implemented in the SatuSehat application. The final result shows an average value of 61.7 (Grade D). After calculating the usability value of each respondent, the final result is 61.7 (Grade D).
