Entropy–KEMIRA Approach for MCDM Problem Solution in Human Resources Selection Task

Abstract: Entropy–KEMIRA approach is proposed for criteria ranking and weights determining when solving Multiple Criteria Decision-Making (MCDM) problem in human resources selection task. For the first time the method is applied in the case of three groups of criteria. Weights are calculated by solving optimization problem of maximizing the number of elements, which are “best” according to all three criteria, and minimizing the number of “doubtful” elements. The algorithm of problem solution is presented in the paper. T… Show more

“…Considering the ratings in the study are in the linguistic form, the intuitionistic fuzzy set is applied to model the linguistic ratings more comprehensively. In order to discriminate the experts and indicator, the entropy, which is proposed to measure the discriminatory power in decision making [ 40 , 41 , 42 , 43 , 44 , 45 ], is used. Entropy and intuitionistic fuzzy sets are reviewed briefly as follows [ 40 , 41 , 46 , 47 , 48 , 49 , 50 ].…”
