Enzymatic selective synthesis of 1,3-DAG based on deep eutectic solvent acting as substrate and solvent

Abstract: In this study, enzymatic selective esterification of oleic acid with glycerol based on deep eutectic solvent acting as substrate and solvent was studied. As choline chloride (ChCl) or betaine can effectively change the chemical reaction characteristics of glycerol when they are mixed with a certain molar ratio of glycerol, several factors crucial to the lipase catalytic esterification of glycerol with oleic acid was investigated. Results showed that, betaine had more moderate effects than ChCl on the lipase, a… Show more

“…Triacylglycerol, diacylglycerol and monoacylglycerol levels were analyzed by a high-performance liquid chromatographic system (LC-20AT, Shimadzu, Japan) equipped with a refractive index detector (RID-10A, Shimadzu, Japan) and a silica column (5 µm, 4.6 × 250 mm, Sepax, USA) as described by Zeng et al [20]. Peaks of triacylglycerol, 1,2-diacylglycerol, 1,3-diacylglycerol and monoacylglycerol were identified by comparing the retention times with those of relative standards and the contents were reported in terms of their proportions.…”

“…Fat molecular species, including triacylglycerol, diacylglycerol, monoacylglycerol and free fatty acid (FFA), were separated by a silica column (5 µm, 4.6 × 250 mm, Sepax, USA) and detected by a normal-phase high-performance liquid chromatographic system (LC-20AT, Shimadzu, Japan) equipped with a refractive index detector (RID-10A, Shimadzu, Japan) [23]. The mobile phase was a mixture of n-hexane, isopropanol, and methanoic acid (15:1:0.003, v/v/v) and the flow rate was 1.0 mL/min.…”
