Epidemiological Characteristics and Risk Factors of Tinea Pedis Disease Among Adults Attending Tikrit Teaching Hospital/ Iraq

Abstract: Background: Tinea pedis is one of the commonest skin infections of interdigital toe webspace as well as feet skin and may affect the nail or the hand. It is caused by dermophytes fungi especially Trichophyton species. Direct contact with a contaminated environment or animal is the main mode of transmission.
