Epidemiological Profile of High-Risk Pregnancies in Lubumbashi: Case of the Provincial Hospital Janson Sendwe

Abstract: Maternal and child health is an important part in the health development plans in many countries. This descriptive study aimed to investigate the epidemiology of risk pregnancies managed at the provincial hospital Janson Sendwe. It was conducted from March 17 to July 15, 2015 to all pregnant women for childbirth consultant beyond 28 weeks of gestation and having at least one risk factor identified during antenatal care or a posteriori childbirth.
