Epidemiology of COVID-19 scenario in India

Abstract: There was an outbreak of a new Coronavirus infection in Wuhan, Hubei Province, China in late December 2019, which caused acute respiratory syndrome of unknown etiology. The World Health Organization (WHO) named the viral causal agent as Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV2) or COVID-19, and declared this infection as a pandemic on the 11 th of March, 2020.
