Esophageal Candidiasis—An Adverse Effect of Inhaled Corticosteroids Therapy

Abstract: Over the last few decades, inhaled corticosteroids (ICs) became the cornerstone in the treatment of persistent asthma. Their use improved asthma control, decreased mortality and also minimized adverse reactions associated with systemic steroid.
