“…The results showed that five of the six brucellins had a potency equal to or slightly higher than that of brucellin 273 whereas the last brucellin had only 78% of the potency of brucellin 273. In cattle sensitized with killed Brucella, two of three brucellins had 87%-88% of the potency of the reference brucellin and one had only 59% of the potency of the reference brucellin (21). This clearly indicates that the potency of various brucellins may vary even though the brucellins are produced according to the same procedure.…”
