Abstract: Stress-induced cardiovascular diseases characterized by inflammation are among the leading causes of morbidity and mortality in postmenopausal women worldwide. Estradiol (E2) is known to be cardioprotective via the modulation of inflammatory mediators during stress. But the mechanism is unclear.
