Evaluasi Properti Psikometris Dan Perbandingan Model Pengukuran Konstruk Subjective Well-Being

Abstract: In the subjective well-being (SWB) measurement model, there are three models used by researchers, namely one-factor model (unidimension), two-factors model, and three-factor model. This study aims to test the validity and reliability of the SWB measure and compare the measurement model of SWB with confirmatory factor analysis method. The total subjects used in this study were 1,003 people with an age range of 14 - 50 years. Positive Affect Negative Affect Schedule (PANAS) and Satisfaction with Life Scale (SWLS… Show more

“…The results obtained are also in line with previous research conducted by Akhtar (2019) with subjects totaling 1.003 people with an age range of 14-50. It uses the instrument Positive Affect Negative Affect Schedule (HOT) and satisfaction with Life Scale (SWLS), which shows that all dimensions have a reliability value> 0,80 with item-total correlation> 0,3.…”

“…Referring to a previous study conducted by Caprara et al (2012), positivity was positively correlated with life satisfaction and positive affect and negatively correlated with negative affect. Therefore, in this study, the Satisfaction with Life Scale (SWLS) and Positive and Negative Affect Schedule (PANAS), which have been adapted to the Indonesian version by Akhtar (2019), were used. Both scales have been tested on 1003 respondents and the results showed a coefficient alpha of 0.828 with a corrected item-total correlation between 0.553 -0.686 for SWLS, a coefficient alpha of 0.861 with a corrected-item total correlation between 0.450 -0.664 for positive affect, and coefficient alpha of 0.853 with a corrected-item total correlation between 0.413 -0.699 for negative affect (Akhtar, 2019).…”

“…However, in the Indonesian version it is simplified into five answer choices, from very unsuitable (1) to very suitable (5) (Afiatin et al 2016;. The value of the validity of the Indonesian version of SWSL is 0.553-0.686, with the reliability level of 0.828 (Akhtar 2019).…”
