This study aims to adapt and validate the Indonesian version of the Sport Anxiety Scale-2 (SAS-2Id). Data were obtained from a total of 268 (male = 154 and female = 114) elite athletes of Papua Indonesia with an age range of 16 to 43 years (M = 22.40 ± 5.01). Furthermore, language adaptation and validation were carried out through a forward-backward translation process using confirmatory factor analysis (CFA). An internal consistency approach was used to test for the reliability based on Construct Reliability (CR). The results evaluate the fit of the models showed that the SAS-2Id fit based on RMSEA, CFI, TLI, and PNFI. The three dimensions of SAS-2Id had standardized coefficient values from .77 to .81, with a significant p-value of ≤ .001. The SAS-2Id item factor loading values ranged from .51 to .88, indicating that it is above the recommended threshold (≥ .50). Furthermore, the reliability test carried out using the internal consistency approach discovered that the dimensions of worry (AVE = .60) and concentration disruption (AVE = .50) were above the recommended cutoff points. In contrast, the somatic dimension had the lowest value (AVE = .35). However, from the other two reliability test parameters, it was discovered that the CR and Cronbach's Alpha values were from .73 to .88 and .71 to .88, respectively, which indicated good reliability values. Therefore, the psychometric property at the Indonesian version of the SAS-2 is a valid and reliable measuring instrument for anxiety levels.
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengungkap (1) bagaimana kondisi fisik atlet Papua, (2) apakah ada hubungan antara IMT, kecepatan, dan kekuatan dengan VO2max, (3) apakah ada perbedaan kemampuan fisik atlet Papua antara cabor atletik, bola voli dan tarung derajat. Metode deskriptif dengan desain ex post facto akan digunakan dalam studi tersebut. Sebanyak 132 atlet Papua (92 laki-laki dan 40 perempuan) cabor atletik, bola voli dan tarung derajat akan dijadikan sampel penelitian. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa (1) kondisi IMT atlet Papua rata-rata berkriteria normal, pada aspek kekuatan rata-rata berkriteria sangat kurang untuk atlet laki-laki dan kurang untuk perempuan, pada aspek kecepatan dan vo2max rata-rata dalam kondisi sangat kurang, (2) terdapat hubungan antara IMT dan kekuatan dengan VO2max, sedangkan dengan kekuatan tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan, (3) terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pada IMT, kecepatan dan VO2max atlet antara cabor atletik, bola voli dan tarung derajat. Untuk kondisi fisik kekuatan tidak ditemukan perbedaan yang signifikan.
Kepribadian atlet menjadi determinan utama dalam menggapai prestasi yang optimal pada olahraga yang kompetitif, tak terkecuali pada pertandingan olahraga nasional terbesar tingkat remaja atau dikenal dengan Pekan Olahraga Pelajar Nasional (POPNAS). Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengungkap: (1) karakter kepribadian atlet remaja Provinsi Papua, dan (2) perbedaan karakter kepribadian atlet cabang olahraga bola voli, sepakbola, tinju dan judo Provinsi Papua. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan desian ex post facto. Inventori Kepribadian Atlet (IKA) digunakan sebagai instrumen utama untuk mengungkap kepribadian yang dimiliki oleh atlet Provinsi Papua. Sebanyak 54 atlet dari cabang olahraga bola voli, sepakbola, judo dan tinju akan dilibatkan dalam studi tersebut. Teknik analisis data yang digunanakan adalah analisis deskriptif dan Anova satu jalur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) atlet cabang olahraga tinju memiliki keunggulan karakter kepribadian pada dimensi motivasi berprestasi, kerja keras, mandiri, dan komitmen, (2) untuk dimensi gigih, cerdas dan swakendali cabang olahraga judo lebih unggul dibandingkan dengan tiga cabang olahraga lainnya, dan (3) tidak terdapat perbedaan karakter kepribadian atlet antara cabang olahraga bola voli, sepakbola, judo dan tinju.
The aim of this research was to find out (1) profile of learning style, achievement motivation, locus of control, academic self-concept of the college student of FIK Uncen, (2) difference of learning style, achievement motivation, locus of control, academic self-concept of the college student of FIK Uncen to view gender. The result of this research was (1) there was 7 (9,6%) college students that have visual learning style, 19 (26,0%) college students that have aural learning style, 16 (21,9%) college students that have read/write learning style, 31 (42,5%) college students that have kinesthetic learning style. There was no difference learning style to view gender, (2) the mean of achievement motivation of the effort dimension have more higly score (29) than both the choice dimension (21) and the persistence dimension (19). There was no difference achievement motivation to view gender, (3) there was 63 (86,3%) college students that have internal locus of control and 10 (13,7%) college students have external locus of control. There was no difference locus of control to view gender (4) there was 18 (24,7%) college students that have high academic self-concept, 55 (75,3%) college students that have medium academic self-concept, and 0 (0%) college students that have low academic self-concept. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengungkap bagaimana motivasi olahraga mahasiswa yang ada di Papua. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah survai dengan partisipan mahasiswa sebesar 88 orang (41 laki-laki dan 47 perempuan) dan rata-rata umur responden adalah 20,65 (SD: 2,4). The Sport Motivation Scale digunakan untuk mengambil data penelitian. Analisis deskriptif seperti nilai rata-rata, nilai terendah dan tertinggi, serta standar deviasi akan digunakan dalam studi ini. Hasil penelitian menemukan dimensi motivasi olahraga mahasiswa di Papua yang paling tinggi adalah intrinsic motivation-to experience stimulation (22,99), sedangkan yang paling rendah adalah amotivation (13,70). Motivasi olahraga internal lebih mendominasi dalam diri mahasiswa di Papua dibanding dengan eksternal dan dismotivasi.The purpose of this study was to reveal the sport motivation on the student sports in Papua. The survey research will be used in this study by involving 88 student as the sample (41 male and 47 female) and the average age of the respondents was 20,65 (SD: 2.4). Data was collected using The Sport Motivation Scale. Descriptive analysis such as mean value, lowest and highest value, and standard deviation will be used in this study. The results found the highest dimension of student sports motivation in Papua was intrinsic motivation-to experience stimulation (22.99), while the lowest was amotivation (13.70). Internal sports motivation is more dominant in students in Papua compared to external and motivated.
