Abstract: Background: This study sought to evaluate the incidence of acute kidney injury (AKI) defined by the Kidney Disease: Improving Global Outcomes (KDIGO) group in patients supported by veno-arterial extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (VA ECMO) after postcardiotomy cardiogenic shock (PCS), and to identify the risk factors for AKI ≥3.
