“…Moreover, an effect of the GO content can be qualitatively assessed, since the native membrane is very damaged, while few cracks are present on the surface of the MGLQ ( Figure 4 h,k), and even less are on the surface of the MGHQ ( Figure 4 i,l). Thus, we can state that the presence of GO in bitumen increases the oxidative thermo-stability of the bituminous membranes and also delays the degenerative phenomena generated by UV radiation [ 50 , 51 , 52 ].…”

“…The first stage is the mixing, spreading and rolling processes, accompanied by transport, storage, heating and mixing of hot aggregates, which causes the effect of short-term aging. The second stage mainly refers to the service stages of pavements, which are vulnerable to the impact of natural environments and climatic changes and, therefore, produce the effect of long-term aging [33].…”

“…In Wang’s paper, the high-speed shear mixing method combined with ultrasonic dispersion technology was adopted to solve the problem of the dispersion of nanomaterials in asphalt binder and the asphalt binder samples were prepared by the melt-blending method. In addition, his research also illustrated that CNTs could reduce the attenuation of physical properties and improve the aging resistance of pure asphalt binder [ 16 ]. Wang et al believed that CNTs could reduce the degradation of SBS during the aging process, and the oxygen-uptake amount of blends combined with SBS and CNTs was lower than that of neat SBS modifiers, demonstrating its important effect on the anti-ageing properties of the SBS-modified asphalt binder [ 17 ].…”
