Abstract: Background: Diabetic nephropathy is the most prevalent cause of end-stage kidney disease (ESRD). Besides, factors such as; pro-fibrotic, cytokines, vascular endothelial growth factor, inflammatory factor, and uric acid may play a role in creating and progressing diabetic nephropathy.
