“…To the best of our knowledge, this is the first study to use viability staining and CLSM imaging to assess the impact of CH when used alone or in combination with two other antibacterial agents on oral multispecies biofilms at different stages of maturation. The benefit of the model used is that the biofilm can be "cloned" and multiplied from the same source biofilm to produce a virtually endless number of parallel biofilm samples grown under the same conditions [28][29][30][31][32].
