Evaluation of Combined Toxicity of Phenols and Lead to Photobacterium phosphoreum and Quantitative Structure–Activity Relationships

Abstract: The combined toxicity of lead (Pb) and nine phenols were measured. The result indicated that the combined toxicity is not only dependent on the Pb concentrations but also on the positions of substituted groups of phenols. Quantitative structure-activity relationship equations were built from the combined toxicity and physico-chemical descriptors of phenols in the different Pb concentrations.
