Background:
Many researches have been conducted all over the Pakistan and in other countries on Prevalence of Musculoskeletal disorders and distribution of Pain among female students.
Objective:
The main purpose of our study was to find out the Prevalence of Musculoskeletal Disorders and Distribution of Pain among Female Students of Railway Campus, The Islamia University of Bahawalpur.
Material and Method:
The age of students selected as per inclusion criteria was 20- 30 years. This study was cross-sectional study. Convenient sampling technique was used. Sample size was 120 female students from Islamia University of Bahawalpur. Nordic Musculoskeletal Questionnaire was used to quantify the musculoskeletal pain and activity limitations in 9 body regions. SPSS software was used for data analyzing.
Results:
79% female students have musculoskeletal pain and the most common sites of pain were neck (54%), shoulder (53%), upper back (49%), lower back (42%).
Conclusion:
Our study concluded that 79% female students were suffering from musculoskeletal pain and the most common sites of pain were neck (54%), shoulder (53%), upper back (49%), lower back (42%).
