Evaluation of pathological changes of the temporomandibular joint in patients with type 2 diabetes

Abstract: This article discusses a modern vision of the impact of type 2 diabetes in the morphology and function of the temporomandibular joint (TMJ). Based on a number of studies, a more severe course of TMJ dysfunction was revealed in patients with type 2 diabetes compared with individuals without diabetes.
