Evaluation of physicochemical properties as supporting information on quality control of raw materials and veterinary pharmaceutical formulations

The FTIR spectrum of lidocaine HCl shows O-H stretching and hydrogen bonding intermolecular at 3500 cm −1 , only alkenes and aromatics show a C-H stretch slightly higher at 3000 cm −1 , a C-O stretching acid group at 1650 cm −1 , N-H stretching at 3451, 3385, and 1550 cm −1 , a C=O stretch carbonyl group at 1475 cm −1 , and O-H bending at 1250 cm -1 [32].
