Abstract:The aim of the research work is to evaluate the polyphenols and antioxidant activity of African grape fruits. The methanolic extract was evaluated for its phenolic contents using Folin-Ciocalteu reagent, antioxidant activity using 1, 1- diphenvi1-2 picrvlhidrazyl (DPPH) radical scavenging activity, and flavonoid using sodium nitrite solution.
