“…One of the preservatives is formulated with an active ingredient composition of 7,2 % technical copper hydroxide and 92,8 % sodium tetraborate decahydrate (10 mole borax). This preservative, herein referred to as BC, is currently in commercial use as a thickened paste for remedial treatment to protect the ground-line area of utility poles (Lebow et al 2014).
