Evolution in Extreme Environments: Replicated Phenotypic Differentiation in Livebearing Fish Inhabiting Sulfidic Springs

Abstract: We investigated replicated ecological speciation in the livebearing fish Poecilia mexicana and P. sulphuraria (Poeciliidae), which inhabit freshwater habitats and have also colonized multiple sulfidic springs in southern Mexico.
