Exergetic and Energetic Analysis of a Traditional Semi-Industrial Comorian Ylang-Ylang Essential Oil Wood Fire Distiller

Abstract: In this article a study of the energy performance of a distillation system of ylang-ylang essential oil on a wood fire was carried out. To do this an analysis using the first and the second low of thermodynamics was made for each component of the distillation system.  The analysis showed that the energy efficiency depends on the fration of oil to be distilled and that the whole system is very deficient.
