Experiment investigation of airlift contact oxidation process performance for domestic wastewater treating

Abstract: Integrated biological wastewater reactor by a combination of air-lift device and cellular filler reactor was utilized to treat sewage on campus. The experimental results suggest that by vaccinating with an indirect and fast way, COD in effluent water could achieve 32mg/L after 7 days with the removal rates of 63.6%, representing the start-up of reactor.When the air-to-liquid ratio was 16.8:1,the hydraulic load of filler was 4.8m 3 / (m 3 ·d),the optimized operation could be achieved and the average COD and NH … Show more
