Experimental Study on a Compressed Arc Extinguishing Device for Power Distribution Network

Abstract: A compressed arc extinguishing device for power distribution network is developed to solve the problem of existing anti‐lightning of power distribution network transmission lines. This paper first introduces the arc extinguishing principle of the arc extinguishing device, and then designs the lightning impulse voltage test around the 10 kV transmission line.
