“…But due to the tiny size of soot particles, the temperature difference between soot and the surrounding gas should be less than 10 K. , Therefore, the temperature measured here by the two-color method can be regarded as the flame temperature approximately. According to the examination results in our previous studies , and other literature, ,, the error of two-color method was less than 100 K or 5%, which met the accuracy of this work and was reasonable to conduct some comparisons based on the same standard.…”

“…Figure depicts the whole experimental system, which was composed of replaceable tubular nonpremixed combustors, mass flow controllers with 98% accuracy (Sevenstar, CS200A), a holder, a mixing vessel, a CCD, and a thermophoretic sampling device. The ψ-shaped tubular nonpremixed combustor, which was the same with our previous works, , consists of three inlet channels for supplying fuel and an oxidizer and an outlet channel for mixing and combustion. The middle inlet channel was used for transporting the fuel (mixture of ethylene and DME), and the bilateral inlet channels were supplied the oxidizer (mixture of O 2 and N 2 ).…”
