Experimental verification of the regulated vibration on the subsoil

Abstract: Abstract. This paper considers the influence of the change of the inclination angle of the directed compaction force on the quality of the vibrated subsoil. To determine the quality and intensity of the compacted soil the absolute and relative methods of measurement are used. During the experimental measurement the quantities, from which the compaction effect of the vibratory roller on the subsoil can be determined, were monitored. The physical properties of the subsoil also influence the quality of the compac… Show more

“…Timber logging can be defined as transposition of logs form a place of harvesting to a place of timber processing or timber transportation. Ground yarding is most often used for slopes up to 40 %, but some logging tractors are able to work on slopes even up to 50 % [1][2][3][4]. DOI:10.22616/ERDev.2020.19.TF058…”

“…The advantages of this technology include speed and low cost [1]. However, this is a complicated process, and in order to achieve the best compaction results, the design of the compaction rollers is still in development [2][3][4][5]. One of the negative effects of this technology is the generated vibration that is transmitted to the surrounding rock environment [6,7].…”
