Healthcare innovation is a vibrant domain of medical science and patient care that is constantly changing with technological advancements and new treatment modalities. This chapter provides an overview of the complex landscape of healthcare innovation and the roles identified for stakeholders to influence or be influenced by their environment. Stakeholders' perceptions, desires, and attitudes toward healthcare innovation have a significant impact on its development, integration, and acceptance. The chapter examines the interacting and intersecting roles and agendas of patients, providers, industry, policy makers, and researchers are examined. Additionally, the problems and surrounding issues in the field of health innovation, such as regulatory frameworks and hurdles, technology constraints, ethical dilemmas, and financial repercussions, are discussed. Lastly, the chapter provides some recommendations and outlines some future issues and policy decisions to achieve higher accessibility and health benefit implementation.
