Exploratory factor analysis, reliability, and validity of the interventionist knowledge and skills survey

Abstract: This study examined the development and technical adequacy of the Interventionist Knowledge and Skill Survey (IKSS), a self-assessment used for understanding the degree of knowledge and skills associated with interventionists working within a multitiered system of support (MTSS). A national sample of 600 school psychologists and school counselors completed 30 Likert-type items pertaining to interventionist knowledge and skills for MTSS. Item analysis reduced the items to 22, and exploratory factor analysis and… Show more

“…That is to divide all the data into k equal parts and run the experiment k times. In each run, one of them is selected as the test data, the other k − 1 as the test data, and the final test result is the average of the k test results [ 33 ]. Since the dimension of this experiment is not large, 4-fold cross-validation is selected.…”

“…Sample Data. In order to be able to better analyze the impact of machine learning-based teaching methods on physical health teaching, this paper compares physical health teaching based on machine learning with traditional physical health teaching, mainly through the form of comparative evaluation indicators [24]. Therefore, the selection of the experimental sample is especially critical to the comparison experiment, and the improper sample selection can easily lead to invalid comparison experiment.…”
