“…Learning gains achieved by the students exploiting virtual world has been proved by Winkelmann et al (2017) in their study conducted among college students. While emphasising the potentiality of virtual world in higher education, Zulkanain et al (2016) opined that immersive environment in the 3D world offers a real environment implemented in the real time with the involvement of instructor that makes it widely acceptable as it addresses the time and space constraint. Acceptability to virtual world is often dubbed for its unique ability to explain difficult situation by visualising objects and their relationships in a shared environment (Felemban et al, 2017).…”

“…Apart from being a popular platform for online learning (Morch, et al, 2017), "since they are designed to offer 3D space, avatars, real-time communication, interaction capabilities and collaboration" (Sipos and Balen, 2017), application of 3DVW has also been steadily perceived in medical sciences, libraries, archives and museum. Blended learning has been widely adopted in higher education institutes to lessen the time and space constraint in a learning session (Zulkanain, et al, 2016). Similarly blended library approaches have been observed worldwide, integrating the traditional automated library service with the 3DVW, encouraging users to discover library resources, services and facilities in a collaborative and experimental settings.…”
