“…The BUT-16 prepared in this work possessed a larger specific surface area than that of other MOFs reported in former studies (PCN-244: 1764.6 m 2 /g, UiO-66-NH 2 : 920.5 m 2 /g, UiO-66-NH 2 / TCPP 1.0 : 523.0 m 2 /g). 19 Overall, through a series of characterization means such as XRD, TGA, SEM, FTIR spectroscopy, XPS, and BET, BUT-16 was successfully prepared and possesses a high specific surface area and superior stability, which can play a key role in pollutant disposal.…”

“…To date, a great number of analytical methods based on sophisticated instruments, including liquid chromatography coupled with tandem mass spectrometry, gas chromatography coupled mass spectrometry, and liquid chromatography with various detectors, have been explored for monitoring BPs in foodstuffs. However, sample preparation procedures including extraction, enrichment, and clean-up are critical thresholds, which affect the precision, accuracy, and stability of the analytical methods. In the extraction and clean-up of target analytes, the functional materials are the key factor and are demonstrated as ideal extraction sorbents in the field of sample pretreatment. , Now, traditional ion-exchange materials (such as PAX), reversal phase extraction materials (such as HLB and C18), and molecularly imprinted polymers are being employed in the extraction and enrichment of BPs in the food matrix. ,, Recently, some novel functional materials utilized as adsorbents have been applied for pretreatment to purify and enrich BPs in food . However, the aforementioned functional materials appeared to be limited for the extraction and enrichment of BPs.…”

“…Thus, it is necessary to develop sensors that can be used to detect these harmful chemicals in the environment [ 16 ]. The presence of a sensing entity and a transduction part in a detector contribute to the translation of the sensed information into different type of signals, which can be electrical or optical wave [ 17 , 18 ]. The mechanism of a detector is majorly rooted in its transduction which is related to the attributes of the detector with regard to its electrical, mechanical, photophysical, optical features when it interacts with analytes [ 19 , 20 , 21 ].…”
